can you get wireless internet on a desk top computer?
i dont know much about wireless internet, but i was courious whether or not you can get wireless internet on a desk top computer? if so how is it a part or program you buy and install? is it a card i connect to a desk top? any info will be great!
wi-fi is available for desktops and laptops. All you need is wireless router and wi-fi network card and make them communicate to each other. Though I don't see reason for doing that unless your PC is really far from your cable or DSL connecting wall location. That is different story for laptops as they are portable and you can move around with them and using wireless access to the internet.
If you talking about WAN and WML then this is only fro cell phones and it doesn't make any sense to have it on computer. The web pages in WML pretty lousy if you try to look at them on computer through the emulator. For that all you need is cell phone or Palm emulator program to be installed on your computer.
