building a custom gaming desk , PC?
looking for ideas on building a gaming desk for my computer. If anyone has seen the V1 gaming desks that is the idea I'm playing around with here. If not go check them out on there website, there amazing but I"m not going to pay $2000 for some aluminum tubing. I'm pretty good at building things but I trying to figure out different ways to do this. What different type of materials do you think would work easiest ? If you know any web sites that may be helpful? Web sites that I could purchase parts for this desk ? Ideas on the design ?

I'm not saying it has to be exactly that but something similar I want to build and of course I am going to mount a racing car seat for it but ideas on the frame , materials I could use to make the frame ?

It's a really simple one and they used steel for the frame. There's a lot of welding to be done. I've heard of people using wood or thick 1" pvc, but imo those might be too flimsy.
